This past week, we went out to lunch two times. On Wednesday, we had dim sum, and on Friday, the Indian food we have every week. I enjoyed both meals because both places offer menu items I can eat without negatively impacting my keto diet. Regarding my diet, I'm continuing to lose weight every single day. At this rate, I will be able to meet my goal by spring. I'm still working out every single day. I'm completing deadweight lifts on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I'm doing free weights. I'm also continuing to do squats and leg presses on alternate days. I do Zumba every morning, and in the afternoon, I do high-intensity interval training to complete my daily cardio goal, which meets or exceeds 40 to 50 minutes. With the hormone support, my hard work and commitment to my diet are finally paying off. Steve and I had some lovely steaks last week. I'm trying to have as much protein as possible because my doctor encouraged that. She wants to ensure I don't lose muscle during this weight loss. I'm trying to use less red meat, but these steaks are delicious. I've also made some scrumptious chicken fajitas. We're using the green tomato salsa with these, and it's yummy! The green chili asada also turned out well, and we've had it several times with an egg on top. Amazingly, I can continue to lose eating these foods, but that's how keto works. It is the perfect diet, and it's been so easy for me to stick to it, especially now that there are keto-friendly wraps I can buy. Lately, we've been counting down the days before we head out to Hawaii. We're very anxious to get there. Steve and I are spoiled by the beautiful weather in Birch Bay in the summer but can do without the rainy gloom in the fall and winter. Hawaii is perfect this time of year, but it gets too hot for me by summer. We're so lucky we can enjoy the best of both worlds.
