Government 101 Topics

Miss Information
I apologize to the young people I have taught over the years. Forgive our lapse, and my failure to prepare you for the society you currently face. The attempt to undo our democracy in 2020 demonstrates that our government may not be as resilient and progressive as I led you to believe. Moreover, after reading the stories about some of those arrested, tried, and sentenced for the January 6th insurrection, it is clear that an information breach exists among many of our citizens, so these topics hopefully fill some of the knowledge gaps regarding our country, its institutions and the law. I encourage you to read Miss Information's Government 101 Topics, because, as evidenced by those convicted for the insurrection, what you don't know might hurt you, and one man's belief in his superiority to another drives human behaviors that are contrary to peaceful coexistence.
